UKPIN Audit of Patient Monitoring in CVIDUKPIN is currnently conducting an audit designed to assess current practice against UKPIN standards regarding the monitoring of CVID patients receiving immunoglobulin therapy. UKPIN members can enter as few as five patients, or as many as you like, in multiples of five; the questions have been designed to be quick and easy to answer. All the patient data is completely anonymous – and no patient-identifying data can be received. The chosen standards come from the UKPIN guidelines, and the data will be evaluated against these. In addition, the numerical data will be used to assess the effects of body mass index on immunoglobulin levels in CVID, hence the need to collect these pieces of information.
Please enter all patient data using the Excel worksheet template available above. Download the worksheet template from the UKPIN website by clicking on this link , and choose ‘Save as…' and rename the file according to the name of your centre. For example, if you work at St Elsewhere Hospital, call your spreadsheet ‘St Elsewhere.xls'. Email the completed worksheet to: Sujoy.khan@nlg.nhs.uk A certificate of completion for each centre will be sent within 8 weeks on receipt of data.
